The Teach Project

New media Installation - 2025


This piece was essentially a video mapping installation shown as an art event at the Bermont Studio - Toronto. The whole point was to use art to support The TEACH Project non-profit organization that focuses on building standard schools for underserved children by highlighting the urgency of their work in a village in Khorasan.

directed the short, silent film and made the installation. The footage itself was the result of a month-long fieldwork trip.

10-minute video loop onto several white cubes placed in an Infinity Room. The images on the cubes were all close-ups, and they were synchronized with wider, narrative-completing visuals on the studio walls. Crucially, the frames on each cube face were closely related and built upon one another, seamlessly telling one cohesive story.


the music using authentic field recordings, including classroom chatter and local singing, which between the visitors who attended the installation and people donating through online platforms, we successfully raised all the necessary funds to construct the new school.
